My name is Mark Hinkle and I am technology addict. I am active in the open source community and am involved in the Zenoss Core and NetDirector projects. I also was a co-founder of the Linux Desktop Consortium and the Open Management Consortium. I have published hundreds of articles on open source and a book on moving from Windows to Linux. Though in 2007 I sold out and move to Mac OS X as my primary desktop. I am a total technology junkie, I bought the iPhone on day one, I build my own DVR, and I am totally addicted gizmos. For my day job I am the Community Manager for Zenoss Inc. at night I blog at SocializedSoftware.com.
